Assessment for ADHD

Do you suspect you have ADHD? Our comprehensive assessment can provide clarity and support. This assessment is beneficial for individuals who may need an official diagnosis for workplace accommodations, educational support, medication management, or personal understanding.

We provide assessment primarily for adults (age 18+) presenting with symptoms of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).  Our comprehensive evaluation includes the use of screening tools, rating scales, an in-depth clinical interview, collateral information if available, and an objective measurement test of ADHD core symptoms. We use a culturally responsive and empathetic approach to help our clients feel seen and heard throughout the assessment process. Clients will be provided with detailed information about the assessment process during an initial consultation call and initial intake and consent forms will be sent electronically to be completed before the initial appointment.

If a diagnosis is made after the assessment is completed, we will provide clients with formal documentation of the diagnosis and relevant recommendations. Some clients choose to provide this documentation to their medical providers as diagnosis verification for medication management, to their mental health providers to help inform their treatment, to their employer’s human resources department to request workplace accommodations, to their school’s disability support services, or standardized testing centers to request academic or testing accommodations, or to other parties that may request a verification that the client has ADHD.

Some clients seek the formal assessment for their personal knowledge and find relief in being able to put a name to their experiences.  Having a formal diagnosis can be a helpful and empowering step towards self-acceptance, getting the right kind of support, and managing life better for those with ADHD.

We are here to help along your journey!  Schedule a free consultation to learn more about ADHD assessments.
