Clinical Supervision

At Umoja Healing Therapy Services, we offer individual and group clinical supervision for individuals completing social work licensure requirements. Supervision is led by Misty Wilson, a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) and Board Approved Social Work Supervisor in Maryland. Misty brings over 20 years of experience in community and social justice work and has been practicing as a mental health therapist for over five years. She has navigated from community mental health to starting a small private group practice. Misty’s commitment to social justice informs her practice. She recognizes the impact of systemic inequalities on mental health and strives to create and support other mental health providers to create inclusive and affirming spaces for healing and growth for all clients.

Misty has experience working with clients across the lifespan from diverse backgrounds and identities. She currently focuses on working with adults dealing with various challenges, including trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, work-related issues, family conflicts, relationship struggles, and other issues. She also specializes in supporting adults who have ADHD to optimize their strengths and lead empowered lives.
